A better match for the job
Condensation and damp
For everyday humidity in heated rooms, start with the room size and where condensation appears most often.
Drying laundry indoors
A higher-capacity model with laundry mode helps move moisture out of the air while clothes dry.
Garages, basements and storage
Cooler spaces need a model built to operate at low temperatures. The Wood’s SW22FW is designed for this type of environment.
Set it up for easy upkeep
All four models support continuous drainage, so you can avoid frequent tank emptying when a suitable drain is available. Filter care differs by model: MRD filters are washable, the SW22FW uses an SMF filter, and Ebac filter compatibility depends on the appliance version.
- Wood’s SW series: Wood’s SMF filter
- Ebac 2000 series: ask us to confirm your filter
Useful answers
Which capacity do I need?
Start with the size and temperature of the room, then consider how much moisture you need to remove. Laundry rooms and persistent damp usually benefit from higher extraction. For a cold garage or basement, low-temperature performance matters as much as the litres-per-day figure.
Can I use continuous drainage?
Yes. Every model shown supports continuous drainage. The hose must run to a suitable drain with the fall and setup specified in the product manual.
Can a dehumidifier help dry laundry?
Yes. Place the unit in the same closed room as the laundry, keep the air intake and outlet clear, and follow the manual. The Wood’s MRD25GW and Ebac 2650 include modes intended for laundry drying.
How do I choose a replacement filter?
Match the filter to the exact model and manufacturing version. The SW22FW uses the Wood’s SMF filter. Ebac 2000-series filters vary by version, so ask our team to confirm before ordering. Follow the registration and filter requirements for any extended warranty.
